Close your eyes and imagine a conductor inviting you to join this boy on train rides you will never forget. Barbara Waddell is the mother of two children. She has Associates Degree in accounting. Barbara and her husband, Leon, own and operate a small café in her hometown of Burlington, North Carolina. Barbara also works at a local bank. Barbara enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with her family. If I Could Catch a Train is Barbara's second children's book. She hopes to continue writing children's books and maybe someday a novel. Barbara has dedicated both of her books to her grandchildren who have been her inspiration.
